DRAC Dining Room Advisory Council
Our mission is serving as the official liaison between Blue Skies of Texas West (BSTW) residents and the BSTW Dining Services Management and food service providers in matters pertaining to all aspects of dining, including menus, food preparation/quality, table service, and dining room procedures.
We are a council comprised of residents from all West Campus neighborhoods who meet monthly. Representatives normally serve for 3 years, with terms beginning at the end of the December meeting.
DRAC programs include a monthly employee recognition of staff, hosting a monthly ‘Coffee with the Chef’ meeting, arranging kitchen tours, and soliciting dining experience feedback. We also maintain DRAC related content on the Resident Portal website.
We have four standing committees: Dining room, Quality control, Menu, and Website. Representatives serve, and any resident may serve, on one or more of these committees.
There is no ‘time living at Blue Skies’ requirement for residents to be on the DRAC. New and nearly new residents are encouraged to join us.
