Attention all Tower dog owners . . . and campus dog owners.
Having issues with your dog not being able to heel, sit, come, or stay? Two former dog trainers are available to help. Woody Woodrow is an experienced AKC Field Trial dog trainer, and Ron Miller is a former USAF sentry dog handler.
There are two common methods of training dogs . . . . ‘Rewards Based’ and ‘Positive & Negative Reinforcement’. The Rewards Based method primarily uses treats while the ‘Positive & Negative Reinforcement’ method primarily uses physical techniques such as caressing and jerking. While both methods produce the same results, most pet owners prefer the Rewards ‘treat’ Based method. It’s the owner’s choice of which method they prefer.
—— Training may be conducted at the Pooch Dog Park. Woody and Ron also make house calls. There are no fees as Woody and Ron do this as a neighbor-to-neighbor activity.
If interested, please contact Woody Woodrow or Ron Miller (see Resident Directory for contact information)
