Activity: Billards

Mission:              To create a way for residents (male or female) to socialize and have fun shooting pool.
Meetings:          No scheduled meetings; infrequent “ad hoc” meetings usually last less than 5 minutes on one of the game days
Fees:              None; bring your own cue or use one of our house cues to play.
Schedule:            Regularly scheduled games take place on Tuesdays at 2PM (usually 9-ball), and Saturday at 2PM (usually 8-ball).
Members:          Everyone, male or female, is invited to play; we usually have anywhere from 6-10 players on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Other:

  • Thursday afternoons at 2 PM are also reserved for open play, but anyone can play on the practice table (see the sign)  by checking out a key to the Billiards Room from the Front Desk
  • Regular players are happy to provide coaching or introduce new players to the game.
  • Residents can also play anytime the Billiards Room is not in usefor other activities. Pool balls / supplies  are kept in the Billiards Room closet, and a key can be checked out from the Front Desk to gain access.
